Some of the best glass in the country from some of the best artists in the world were all present. Ross 4.0, SYN, Hitman, oh the list goes on. On the last day of the show, actually during the last few hours of the show I walked by a table out by Shackman Studios and saw this tube. I stopped and did a double take, I must admit that I'm a sucker for the color pink in glass. I'm not sure if it was the pink, the art, or what, but something grabbed me. I picked up the tube, inspected it, got the price, and drooled for a few minutes. Then I walked away and met up with the rest of the crew in the Jellyfish suite. 10 minutes later I was walking across the street to the Hard Rock to get cash, that baby had to come back to VA with me. So low and behold I present to you "Sacred Geometry" by WJC out of Shackman Glass Studios in CO. Just last week we received our first shipment from BOOM FELAZI. After opening the package and getting a good look at the pieces I was very impressed. The glass is so clean and free from any of those little scratches or distractions. I first noticed the "stack" like form of the tubing and was curious about it' s actual name. ![]() I soon found myself on the phone searching for some basic background info about this sick new product. ![]()

![]() Overthinking things, here's a table of hammer:anvil ratios, and, assuming your anvil is mounted on soft springs, and a clay-like workpiece deforms and absorbs all the energy it can to decelerate the hammer and accelerate the anvil into a perfectly inelastic collision: Yup, I had a bad day, and a good Talisker port rouge in front of me now in the end you'll find what works best for you and that's what matters. Try a different foot, try a different fixing method. Sometimes it's a bad idea, sometimes it's a good idea. Just like anvils. Half the fun (for me at least) of blacksmithing / bladesmithing is experimenting with stuff. And once you start working on something, improvise. It starts with your mind, you motivation, and flows from there. A small anvil is no excuses for not delivering good work and having a massive workshop with all the tools, presses and tons of anvils is no excuse either to not deliver good work. Sometimes it's more important to just "do" and don't worry. It's virtually impossible a part of the "experienced mass" doesn't come from the base.īut I have learned to NOT overthink a lot of things, as I tend to do that (a couple good whisky's usually fix that problem ) . You'll be amazed how "heavy" the tiny anvils feels. Take a sledgehammer head weld a square spike on it go outside and beat it in a stump of wood preferably still with roots. ĭo the experiment of the stump anvil and you'll be amazed. Hence forth power hammer anvils' mass are between 1/5 to 1/20. They also found that the fixing method of the anvil to the frame mattered in noise, but not in deformation. Below 1/20 it was usefull to get a bigger anvil. They experimentally measured this and found that from a 1/20 ratio between hammer/anvil the increases in mass of the anvil didn't really increase deformation proportionally. I found an article about it once someone tried to find out how to mathematically find out how heavy an anvil had to be to be "optimal" for a power hammer, in this article they described resonance, vibration and plastic deformation of the workpiece. This is also why a steel tripod with a really strong fixation works so well. I think - and take this with a grain of salt - that the harder you fix your anvil down, in combination with the reduction in resonance-difference between anvil and foot the more energy will be reflected into the deformation of your work. The other one doesn't vibrate in your shoes You feel the hit in your feet through the concrete. The one where I glued the wood stump also to the concrete with the same glue it feels "heavier" under the hammer. Would a 66# anvil epoxied to a 66# box of sand work like a 132# anvil on a stool? Joey's tiny anvil was moving around under the clamps with each hit-A small anvil might "work" for a short job, but people really seem to think the big ones are worth it. Setting it in a bed of sandy dirt on the ground didn't seem to do too much to the ring. I also clamped the base to a flimsy bit of 3/8" plywood with some wood clamps, and that also quiets the ring somewhat. I can quench the ringing with a magnet, gripping a horn in a fist, clamp, a plumbing T, or jamming a chunk of 2x4 over it. Geeking out like an engineer, I worked out the natural frequency of a similarly-sized steel beam ( ) and it doesn't seem too far off from the tone. ![]() Resonance-wise, I have a shiny #66 Acciao anvil and it rings brightly. ![]() Did epoxying make any other difference than the ring? With that breakout role, Page experienced a meteoric rise in Hollywood, tapped to guest-host Saturday Night Live, cast in the Russo brothers' buzzy Netflix thriller The Gray Man with Chris Evans, Ryan Gosling, and Ana de Armas, and landing a lead role in Paramount's big-budget Dungeons & Dragons movie. Thanks to his megawatt smile and charming charisma elevating the ever-popular "bad boy with a heart of gold" trope, Page injected the sultry series with boundless sex appeal and became the subject of many a piece of fanfic. Finally, Edmund Bridgerton played a role in Anthony’s flashbacks in season 2 and was a big part of Anthony’s struggle with love which has since been resolved, so he too is unlikely to return for Bridgerton season 3.Though most of the cast was well-received and a few fan-favorite characters emerged, none broke out on a greater scale than Page as the Duke of Hastings. Marina will most likely be mentioned, but again she is not a major player until Eloise’s story becomes the main focus. ![]() ![]() In addition, it is unlikely Marina Thompson will return in season 3 as she was mainly part of Colin’s love story, and he made closure with her in her brief appearance in season 2. Jack Featherington also played a big part in season 2 as he tried to con the people of the Ton, but he was sent away in season 2 and is unlikely to return. Bridgerton tends to stick quite closely to the books, so a rekindling of their relationship is more likely to be in the season that focuses on Eloise’s love life. Theo is a new character who is not in the books. One of these is Theo Sharpe, a working-class love interest of Eloise Bridgerton whose relationship came to an end in season 2. There is speculation that some other favorites may not be back for Bridgerton season 3. In an interview with Indian Express, Charithra Chandran confirmed she would not be returning as Edwina for season 3 and is currently filming for a new movie. It is implied Edwina will then meet the Prince, and hopefully fall in love, so there is no other route for Edwina’s story to be explored, especially as she is not a Bridgerton. With Anthony marrying Kate and the financial pressure taken away, Edwina fully supported her sister and stepped aside.Īt the end of Bridgerton season 2, Queen Charlotte came to Edwina, who was the diamond of the social season, and told her that her nephew, a Prince, was available. Edwina had a tough time throughout season 2 as she never really connected with Anthony, and only realized he loved Kate on her own wedding day. Edwina was set to marry Anthony Bridgerton but, unbeknownst to her, he fell in love with her sister, Kate, and they eventually married. Edwina came to London in hopes she could marry and provide financial security for her family. However, some characters will not be returning for Bridgerton season 3.Įdwina Sharma, star of Bridgerton season 2, will not be returning for season 3. This, alongside the expected release of season 3 of Bridgerton, will mean a big year for Bridgerton, with many returning and new characters. The success continued into Bridgerton season 2 with Anthony Bridgerton and Kate Sharma, and now Shonda Rhimes has created a Bridgerton prequel focused on Queen Charlotte and King George, Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story. ![]() Netflix’s Bridgerton has diverted slightly from the books with Eloise having a love storyline with a new character, Theo Sharpe, in season 2, and season 3 focusing on Colin Bridgerton and Penelope Featherington, instead of Benedict Bridgerton.īridgerton shot to success with its first season which followed the eldest Bridgerton daughter, and the mysterious Duke of Hastings, Simon. Bridgerton follows Julia Quinn’s books of the same name, with each book (and season) following a Bridgerton sibling. There's no official release date for Bridgertonseason 3 yet, but it's already confirmed that some favorite Bridgerton characters will not be returning. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Each of these guided trips is fully customizable and highlights hidden gems that tourists don’t typically stumble upon.ĭig in to dinner at one of OKC’s restaurants. ![]() ![]() ![]() In Condition Zero, expert bots will always spray bullets and aim for the head. Terrorist bots in older games sometimes uses the Dual Berettas if they are restricted in wielding other weapons. However, the Dual Berettas are fairly common among bots in Source, especially if they are restricted to use pistols only. They also have a long reload time to balance out their magazine capacity.īots in Global Offensive will rarely/sometimes buy them. What keeps them from being competitive is their low accuracy and high damage dropoff, which limits their engagement range to short range. They are most effective in Source, where their damage is higher. This, combined with their light weight and low recoil and spread in Global Offensive, makes them effective for spraying and shooting on the move. Their damage isn't very high, but slightly better than the spawn pistols, usually requiring 1 less shot to kill for bodyshots. They are coded to use 9x19mm despite their name. The Dual Berettas have a high rate of fire and large magazine size and reserve ammunition capacity. In Global Offensive, they cost a cheaper $300 as opposed to $800 from the previous Counter-Strike games, which made them the most expensive pistol in these games. In-game, the Dual Berettas are moderately powerful semi-automatic pistols (always dual-wielded in pairs, one in each hand) that were originally available only to the Terrorists, but available for both factions since Global Offensive.
